–  We're working with a firm that is seeking to improve conditions is sub-Saharan Africa, where a lack of electricity means a lack of safe drinking water.  This lack of safe drinking water is the root cause of most of the deaths from infectious disease such as malaria, dysentery, diarrhea, etc.  We designed solutions that involve both US and African businesses that combine solar power and revolutionary water purification and waste treatment technologies.  Plus, the "by-product" of the waste treatment is electricity and fertilizer that locals can use to improve agriculture.

–  A significant problem exists whereby medications and vaccinations that are sent to help in the developing world are intercepted in transit and replaced with counterfeit medications.  We designed a solution that combines RFID technology and IP communications to provide tracking of these items from the package level, all the way up to the container level.  This ensures that theft is identified and pursued and ensures that fake and thus ineffective medications are not administered.  Plus, tracking is provided to know exactly who got what treatment, when, and where.
